Hay guys... It's me - Sonia.
So yesterday was the parade. I had a blast. But let's get to the beginning. On friday night was "dress rehearsal" and it was good. I guess.... Just like practice.. only outside in the COLD. sheesh. I dont know who ordered that, but I thank God they canceled the snow. It wasn't THAT cold, but still cold. (however, i'm always cold....lol) But it was a good practice. Then some of the girls and i went out shopping as i decided i needed another layer of clothes.. like that is hard to believe. lol. So we went shopping and i found another jacket, so that was good. Then food, and then sleep. heehee. kinda. see, liz, sarah and i stayed together friday night... and if you know those 2, you know sleep is not always high on the priority list. lol. but it was higher that night than usual.. we didn't stay up too late talking.. only till like 1ish?? i guess... idk. i sacked out. i'm the old one in the group, and was ready to crash... so i did. then at least we didn't have to get up TOO early, but i woke up around 8. and someone on the other side of the room was laughing... i couldn't tell who it was... i think it was liz that was decided. then someone started texting me. sheesh. not even 10 and people are texting me. i was wondering why on earth people are even AWakE at that hour of the day if they aint gotta be... i STILL dont get it... but oh well. So, we got ready, and headed out to see the masses.
So, we get to the church a lil' after 11, and people were already there. We eventually made our way down to the float, (which looked nice by the way) and hung out. Waited for our turn to go... and watched the people ahead of us go. they were nice people ahead of us... it was fun. then.... OUR TURN!! so we all get up on the float, and start singing. Waving at all the people, and some were dancing. It was great. I had such great fun.. After the parade was over, we stayed on the float and sang all the way to the church. First, we went to a friends house, and sang for them. that was good. i heard they really liked that. then we got to the church, and it was just a good day for all.
so, for those that didn't get to go (sorry rhonda....) that's my story about it. I'll get up pics as soon as i can. camera battery didn't last the whole day... heehee. was busy taking lots of photos!

Wish I could have been there ... and my girls would just love to see some snow! :) Glad you had a great time... as far as what people are doing up at 10:00 am ... ha! I'm usually up at 8:30 on Saturdays, and THAT'S sleeping in! :)
I actually think I fell asleep b4 u and Liz... idk... I know the both of u were talking, at least i think so... and then i woke up with Liz's arm over me :P lol. that was funny. wierd, but funny, considering she was laughing when i woke up. anyway. it was fun. and the parade was a blast! since steph was behind us on the way to church, i got to make faces at her lol

Rhonda - Parade went well. Too bad you couldn't make it... oh well. next time. And as for snow... it aint here. yet. up at 8:30 on a saturday?!?!?! wow. but then again.. ur a mom. kids dont know about sleeping at ur kids' age. the time will come. lol.
Sarah - i was out before liz came out of the shower... so no. we wern't talking... that was ur dreams darlin'. lol. so liz was the one laughing over there. what a weirdo. crazy kid! the parade was awesome! can't wait to go caroling! and making faces at steph coulda been kinda scary since i think scooter was behind her.. but dont know for sure. u could answer that.
