ok... it's done being cold...

Hey guys. It's me - Sonia.

As the title says, it's done being cold, and has now moved to the freezing status here in Northern nevada. that's just my own opinion tho. take it for what it's worth. plus, i have been sick since tuesday, and that may have something to do with it.

which leads to this. an update! yay!! lol. so i was texting with sis mattocks the other day, and she told me she was getting a sore throat, and wasn't feeling too peachy. (not quite the words that were used, but since this is my blog, that's how it's going to be paraphrased....) so anyways, that was monday evening, and i felt just grand. however, come tuesday when i woke up... all was no longer grand in sonia-land. sore throat, stuffy head, nose, throat, just felt ugh. however, just took it, and went to work. felt somewhat ok, not too bad, but could def tell i wasn't 100%. when i finally got to go home on tuesday (it was a long day... lol) i was so cold, i added all the blankets i could get without creating a huge ruccus about the house. so, i added what i could, and climbed into bed. a nice toasty bed. and that's where i stayed for the next while. got out wednesday for a shower, quick music practice, and even then i was not a respectable looking person out in society! and then church... after church i went to the mattocks, as i wanted to see dallas's party creation food he was going to be taking. after that, went home and stayed there until friday sometime. spent thursday in bed, and most of friday. and then today, i feel kinda human and not just a sinus cavity. lol. however. i must say, it's always interesting when i walk into the office, and my boss says "what are you doing here?" and i asked well, "aint i scheduled??" she says "yeah. but your sick" like that was supposed to matter or something. being sick does not put hours on the paycheck. so, since i felt mostly ok, i stayed and did work. all 6 hours. she had the night guy come early, but he had other things to do outside the office, so i was able to stay and get my full time in. =)

Went looking around burlington for maybe a nice skirt, or a suit or something for west coast. i found a suit i think, but def needed a second opinion, and since i went alone, i didn't get one. so i'm hoping someone will go with me next week and let me know. but.... idk.

after that, went up to walmart. had a few things to buy with some coupons before they expired, and so i did that... got my pot luck food. i was going to actually cook it for once, but, being partly ill, i decided not to. so i bought ready made take-away food. i think my fellow friends and all at church would like that better. lol.

and came home. been chilling ever since. one would think i would be sleeping at this time of night, but i'm not. i'm sitting here typing away. i had to .... well. no. i shouldn't put it that way. i decided to put curlers in my hair for overnight, and that took some time. and was listening to odyssey. and was online talking with some friends. all whilst trying to put in curlers and listen to odyssey at the same time. so it took quite awhile. lol. so anyways...

that's about the excitement in sonia-land. none really. i am glad and so thankful to God that I get tomorrow off, and praise the Lord, I get next sunday off!!! without even asking!!! so i'm very thankful for that. and i already saw the schedule for west coast, and i did get it off this year!! yay!!

Well, I wrote all that beginning Saturday night, and it's now monday. I was doing other things whilst posting, and lo and behold my computer rebooted, and it was LATE so i just went to bed and said i'll post later. hence, here i am. So, hope ya'll have a good week!
