Update....

Hey guys... it's me - Sonia. And for once i have an update!! haha.

Unfortunately, i have no pics of the events, but last week i went to the diaz farm. that was such great fun. I left town early thursday morning, and got there about 9:30... and shortly after we went to the lake until about 3. We had such a good time... we just wont speak of yellow tubes and how we got off, and had to swim to shore, and all that stupidness along with it. lol. and then sadly, the nice tube got blown away.... we had rocks, life jackets, and "stuff" on it to help weigh it down, but it blew off faster than we could catch it. =( but it was still a good time. Thursday evening was interesting... had salmon for supper... i must say, it wasn't the fishyness i thought it could be... but was edible. lol then, off to get the girls from becky's parents house... they had just gotten home from mexico. and back home to sleep. farmy people get up early, and so i had to make sure i got to sleep somewhat early. so, i quietly went to bed as Anikka was already in the room sleeping away... she was so precious. and bright and early at 6am, the sun was brightly shining in the room. how precious of mr sun. i was thankfully able to turn over and go back to sleep. however, at 7:20 in came caleb to wake up anikka. so, i told them the girls were home (they were already in bed when they had gotten home) and away they went. so i figured if the little kids were awake, the rest of the house would be awake soon... plus farmy people do not know about sleeping in. nor do farmy animals. yay. so i got up and dressed and ready for the day. first, watered the garden. the garden was nice. big. and looking good for the most part. that took about 45 mins or so. then off to check on the animals. got the eggs from the boys, and helped them out... actually, i just took up space. lol. it was still too early to be thinking of anything, and i wasn't fully awake. we looked in on the baby turkeys. the baby pigs... they have gotten big!!! troy asked me if i wanted to hold one.... i was like NO!!! lol. big nasty smelly things. lol. and no i dont want to eat one either. i held the thing once for crying out loud!!! i dont wanna hold it in my stomach... lol. friday was a day at the lake once again. after cleaning up the house, we went and had a grand 'ol time. no rafts as it had blown to the other side of the lake. we were hoping to get the boat and go, but the boat didn't start, and so we didn't get to go. not that bro diaz didn't try... it just didn't work for idk what reason. shortly after that i came home. that's a sandy lake, and needed to get home so it wasn't going to be too late in driving home. it was a GREAT time, and look forward to going again when i get home.

saturday was rodeo night for me. I had such a great time. I went with mom and sis gina. she cracks me up. as soon as we got inside, she was ready to eat. so we got some food. then walked around looking at all the shops. then she wanted to eat again. then after going in and watching some rodeo happenings, she was ready for more food. so she quickly went and got a corn. then it was time for bulls. the crowd favorite. it was so FUNNY!!! i can't totally explain it, but along with an awesome border collie helping round up the bulls, there was also a remote control truck with a sombrero on it! was going round and round the bulls. well one bull... he was funny. mr juan carlos stopped right in front of him, and he was looking at it like what is this silly contraption. and then he pounced on it!! and it didn't do anything but move some, and so he bucked it. flung it around. it was SO FUNNY! i wish i had recorded it, but i was too busy laughin with everyone else, and i didn't get it recorded. it was just too funny. then it was home and shower time for me!

Yesterday I had my own father's day. Since I had to work on father's day (as much as i didn't want to) i had fathers day a week late. I went to church with my daddy. he taught the first session and it was about grace. good teachings! then for service bro sargent taught about making a choice. it was good!! then we had a good day. we got home from church, and we worked on his truck, then played mini golf, then ate at fudruckers and had a good time!! my dad enjoyed his day. wish we could have more days like that more often, but just not able to do so at this time. but it's something i've been praying about.

and now it's monday. and i'm at naya's. everyone has gone to bed, and here i am wide awake. this is what happens when one falls asleep at 2p-ish, and sleeps for a little longer than an hour. lol. so, it's been a great weekend, and another one is yet to come!!
