Camping...

Hey guys... it's me - Sonia. I have a few minutes, so i'm going to throw this update on here right quick.

I've been camping this past weekend and it has been a blast!!! My parents pulled out to the farm wednesday night, so I left church straight away, and met them in Carson, and away to the farm we went. Then early (BEFORE THE SUN!) the silly rooster starting crowing. and it wasn't one crow. it was every 5 seconds. So, i was awake. UGH! lol. then out to see the animals, and garden. Then to the lake we went. Set up, and whilst mom was cooking, i ended up sleeping some more. YAY ME!! <3 lol. Then the others started slowly pulling in. And me - not the biggest fan of water was IN the lake. I had such great fun.

Friday, I ended up leaving early coming back home to shower and work. Then as soon as i could, I was back out Friday night. Enjoyed supper, and camp fire and fire works. Had a great time, and heard some good things around the fire.

Saturday, back to reno to shower and work. then back out for BBQ, fellowship and camp fire. So, i got there and we ate... then it was boat time!!! YAY!!! so it was decided Olivia and I would go on the second ride with the raft thingy getting pulled by the boat. So the Salizars' got on, and away we go! pull out a little bit, and then, BANG!! and the boat dies. In the middle of the lake. ok that's fine. So we pull the salizars in, and they climb aboard. Bro Diaz looked at a few things, and nope, no boat. Not working..... Hmmm... well, maybe this part... nope, no boat.... maybe this? yes! boat starts, oh dear, not very well.... well, maybe we can get to shore by doing something he said that i dont remember, and had NO clue what it meant... so, we slowly go, and now the boat dont turn. hmmm... we r stuck out here... ok, start waving the flags. maybe a passing boat can help. no... the rude heads just kept going. Then along comes Jay... nice guy... He comes out on his jet ski and look.... we are stranded out here can you pull us into shore? Yeah... sure... no problem... so into shore we get pulled... how embarrassing!!! lol But, at least we made it many thanks going out to Jay.

Then, campfire time... now what? we sit, we visit, and we are wiped out by 11. so, do i drive the hour home? do i sleep at the farm? in the boat? in the van? well, i'm very tired at this point, so i just slept in my truck. I have passed the test, and looks like i may officially be red neck!!! LOL not a complete and total true redneck as i have all my teeth!!!! ROFL!!!! but i actually slept quite well in there. rolled windows down a hair, opened back windows, and was out quickly. i did end up getting a little cold, but i had a sleeping bag, so i opened it, covered me with it, and was back out quickly. Then heard the diaz's putting kids in the car to head home and it woke me up. So i came home as well, and now here i am. had a GREAT weekend, and now i'm TIRED but it's a good tired. And to think, I haven't even had my vacation yet!!!

so, today, i have a majillion things to do as i work tomorrow, and i have to be ready tomorrow night. first, church, and a million things to do after. So, may ya'll have a blessed day, and a great week!!!
